Music creates a mood, but the emotions are usually isolated from the work. It is an interesting line to walk, between temperamental design and emotionally infused design. I know sometimes I get fed up with babying people with my designs and I want to design scary things with spikes, sharp corners, etc. Don't write yourself off b/c your young, the by-products of aging cloud peoples opinions. Being "naked" takes a lot of courage and you have to remember to differentiate between your self and your work. It is totally the most exciting, and scary, way to design.
